Flexible working hours – A curse to an employer?

I am a woman, a software engineer, looking for a job (like any other woman). Well, I am not merely looking for a job; I’m looking for a career in IT. Unfortunately I am denied of having it. Why am I being denied? Is it because of family pressure? No, my husband is very encouraging and supportive. Is it because I am dumb witted? No, I am quite intelligent. In fact I have over 4 years of IT experience coupled with excellent academic background. They why? Why am I being denied a career of successful IT professional? The reason: I am a MOTHER. So? So I want to work between 8 am and 4 pm. Come on I need flexible working hours. Ah-ah there lies my crunch. You see I get lots of calls from IT recruiters, also known as “consultants”. Like blood is to body communication is to living. Communication is an important factor in every relationship , be it any. We as adults know about it already , but sometimes I wonder or you may say "worry" if our kids know about it. All parents want best for their children. The best education , the best clothes , the best food , the best toys and so on and so on. But do parents strongly feel the need to make their children the best communicators of today and future? Do parents stress on the importance of conversation to their children? One of my friend's daughter is an intelligent 6 year old girl. She is attentive in her class and an obedient child. But whenever anyone asks her a question , she just keeps mum , you get no reply from her. She is just not interested in answering in any way.
